I absolutely LOVE the fact that it’s become a new widget on my notification center. And to be quite honest, I didn’t even know you could do this before GAget. Incredible app!

It’s very useful but I really prefer to have all widgets opened at the same time in my Mac OS X dashboard. This way I can compare sites visitors side by side at a glance. Do you plan to enable the dashboard widget again?

I’m missing today’s pageviews. But I have a feeling, that it’s gonna be added in future updates.

Shows most of the info I need with a few clicks in Notification Centre. I am just missing basic behaviour info to see which pages got the most hits. Guess I still need to use a web browser to log into GA from time to time to check this. Would be cool to see this added.

Don’t Update to Version 1.2 as it breaks the Widget! I hope this gets fixed soon. Very annoying!

I’m a long time user of the GAget, and it’s now my most useful Notification Center widget. It looks awesome and works perfectly! Definitely worth it. Keep up the great work!

this app is a perfect idea. Also, i’d like to be able to check my real-time traffic as well.

I needed a quick little way to check on my anyaltics. I explored other apps, but they were either not as easy to use or provided more info than I really cared to filter through. This app is fantastic and lets me check on things without having to fire up some other applcation or logg into account via the web.

I am going to keep this review short and to the point. This apps performs flawlessly. Looks gorgeous. Effectively saves countless trips to the web dashboard. Supports multiple accounts. About the only major functionality that is understandably missing is real-time data. That being said I fully recommend this app to anyone, who like me, is constantly checking their sites stats. This app not only looks good, but it also allows you to take a look at a variety of sites with just a single glance.

The app is very similar to the iOS app, very very nice. Well worth the price. I agree with previous review that real-time data would be fantastic — I wouldn’t need it for every account though, maybe just an option to add it to every account. I would like to see current top 5 page views. Then it would be perfect. :-)

It’s a great app and I gave it 5 stars because it was really convenient and priced fairly. For those who have a lot of sites being tracked on Google Analytics, this really makes things convenient. The visualizations are great and fit with OS X. Like others have said, real-time data would be even better. What else would be nice to see is the ability to get notifications on specific events. If there was a spike in traffic (just have a configured threshold) for example. As a developer I know this is a lot of additional work here, but I think it some sort of alert system that popped up OS X notifications would be killer and certainly warrant a price increase. =)

If you run a website and like to keep an eye on the analytics, this is the best way to do that on a Mac. Don’t think — go ahead and buy it. You won’t regret it. The design and implementation are without fault. I simply can’t imagine using GA without this widget. Kudos to the developer!

The widget is very easy to use and has a great design. However, it has some very big flaws. The widget cannot be customized to show important stats like revenue. This needs to be corrected ASAP!

I researched the daylights out of Google Analytics, and was searching how to best “see” the data that is being tracked in Google Analytics by the nearly dozen websites I’ve created for clients. After coming across this, and getting it both for the Mac and iPhone, I could work this way! The “key” to using this app is through Google Analytics itself. This advice is for free (lol): In the Admin area of your account, under the “View” area, make sure that you change the title from “All Web Site Data” to the name of your site, or else this app will display “All Web Site Data” on all the websites you are tracking…. Once you do that, you can track an unlimited number of accounts IN Google Analytics, but this app will only allow you to display no more than 8 at a time. Other than that, on the Mac, I can see at a glance how many “sessions” took place on up to 8 websites of my choosing, and I can dig a little bit deeper on each website, seeing stats such as how many page views, referrals, bounce rate, percentage of device users (desktop vs. mobile vs. tablet), and more. And then, if I want to see an even deeper picture, I simply click on the link, “View in Google Analytics,” which I then login automatically to see the Google Analytics interface, drilling down even more (hopefully you have your passwords saved on your computer!!). The way that this workflow is quite good is because there’s no need to see everything that Google Analytics offers except when I REALLY need to see it. This app allows me to see “at a glance” what a site is doing at any time. And, I like the fact that whenever I go to the Notification Center, it automatically “pulls” the data so I can see right then what the most current stats are for the respective websites. Aside from those things, this is quite good! If you are a website designer/developer, or just a person who has a website, and would like to see at a glance how your website is doing, this could be for you!
